This programme provides you with a wide range of comprehensive services, anytime and anywhere in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand (excluding all islands except Penang and Langkawi). All you need to do is call the 24-hour toll-free number 1-800-88-6292 to request for the following services:
In the event that your Vehicle is immobilized, Peugeot Assistance will arrange roadside assistance for you whenever practical, failing which your Vehicle will be towed to the nearest Peugeot Service Centre.
In the event that your Vehicle is immobilized, Peugeot Assistance will arrange assistance for you. If you wish to have the car to be towed to Malaysia, Peugeot Assistance will cover the towing cost from the border to the nearest Peugeot Service Centre in Malaysia.
In the event that immobilization has occurred when you are more than 100km away from your home address, and your Vehicle has been taken to a Peugeot Service Centre but repairs cannot be completed within the same day (specifically after 6pm on weekdays), Peugeot Assistance will organize and pay the cost for the most appropriate method of onwards transport to your destination.
Alternatively, we will arrange up to 2 nights’ hotel accommodation for you with a maximum budget of RM400 per night. Any additional expenses shall be your responsibility.
This benefit is limited up to 3 times a year and is subject to availability. Both benefits cannot be utilised at the same time.
Provided that your Vehicle has been towed by Peugeot Assistance, and you are more than 100km away from your home address, and your Vehicle has been taken to a Peugeot Service Centre but repairs cannot be completed within the same day, (specifically after 6pm on weekdays), we will, whenever possible, organize and pay for a replacement car whilst your Vehicle is being repaired, up to a maximum period of 2 days with a maximum budget of RM300 per day (excluding petrol costs).
Any extension beyond the 2-day coverage period will be your responsibility.
If a taxi is required during a breakdown, Peugeot Assistance shall refer and assist to arrange for one. You are entitled for a maximum reimbursement of RM60 per event (limited to 3 times a year).
Upon request, Peugeot Assistance shall endeavour to contact the driver’s family and keep informed of the driver’s whereabouts in the event of an accident or breakdown.
1. WHAT IS PEUGEOT ASSISTANCE?
It is a 24-hour, 365-day a year emergency roadside assistance service exclusive to owners of eligible Peugeot cars registered in Malaysia.
2. MY VEHICLE HAS BROKEN DOWN, WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
Contact Peugeot Assistance at 1-800-88-6292 or use the Peugeot Assistance App and provide the Call Centre staff with your name and exact location, vehicle registration number, Peugeot model, contact details, a description of the problem, confirmation of your home address, and proof of ownership (if required).
3. WHAT IS THE COVERAGE AREA FOR PEUGEOT ASSISTANCE?
Peugeot Assistance will provide assistance to Malaysian-registered Peugeot cars that are enrolled for the programme in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
4. DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT PARTS?
Yes, replacement parts and any workshop labour costs would be your responsibility unless covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.Conditions apply.
5. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR ASSISTANCE TO ARRIVE?
The duration of waiting time will depend on the availability of the assistance provider, your breakdown location, traffic and weather conditions. During the course of assistance, we will maintain contact with you and provide updates of the estimated time of arrival of the service provider.
6. DO I HAVE TO BE WITH THE VEHICLE TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE?
Yes, you must be present at the breakdown location in order for assistance services to be rendered to your Vehicle.
7. CAN MY VEHICLE BE TOWED TO A WORKSHOP OF MY CHOICE?
Yes, but it must be a Peugeot Authorized Service Centre only. Any extra cost on towing service to a preferred Peugeot Service Centre (that is not the nearest authorized Peugeot Service Centre) shall be borne by you.
8. CAN I MAKE MY OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND OBTAIN REIMBURSEMENT FROM PEUGEOT ASSISTANCE?
All arrangements must be made by Peugeot Assistance as there is an appointed network of service providers and facilities to provide the service as described in this policy.
9. WHO SHOULD I CONTACT FOR ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS INSURANCE CLAIMS?
You should contact your nearest authorized Peugeot Service Centre and Vehicle insurer for vehicle accident insurance claims.
10. DO I CALL PEUGEOT ASSISTANCE IF I WANT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN AUTHORIZED PEUGEOT SERVICE CENTRE?
Peugeot Assistance is designed to provide emergency assistance. However, we will gladly provide you with the contact details of the authorized Peugeot Service Centre of your choice.
